ServiceNow UI Developer

The Portal Designer is a key member of our ServiceNow team who designs, develops, tests, and deploys solutions for our our customers. The Portal Designer understands the need to leverage their extensive knowledge to create a better User experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the technical aspects of project delivery 
  • Assist with writing requirements as it relates to the ServiceNow portal and components 
  • Develop the portal, pages, widgets and other components based on requirements 
  • Troubleshooting UI rendering issues 
  • Advise stakeholders in their efforts to take advantage of the platform capabilities in their efforts to improve existing processes and employee experience 
  • Document configurations and development 
  • Engage in timely and effective communications with customers 
  • Demonstrate an expert understanding of ServiceNow and the products we implement for our customers and become their trusted advisor 
  • Always focussing on the User experience (UX)  
  • Deliver excellence 
  • Be creative, innovative and agile

Skills

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow portal experience, HRSD product experience is a PLUS 
  • Experience in Javascript, Angular JS (1.X) 
  • Experience in CSS, HTML, Bootstrap 3 framework 
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript 
  • Front-end and back-end development experience required 
  • A keen eye for user experience design 
  • BS Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Great communication skills being able to present complex information 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude 
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn every day 
  • Understanding of DevOps Git/Automation Testing(Selenium)
