Prior experience in a technical sales environment.
Consulting experience & Management experience would be nice to have.
Engaging with assigned or targeted customer organizations. Understanding customer business and establishing technical and business credibility with clients providing the ability to cultivate relationships and envision creative sales and solution strategies that generate additional revenue.
Owning the technical, services and architecture agenda for named customers and drive the account innovation component for key customer engagements.
Actively participating in customer project kick-offs, architecture sessions, key status meetings, milestone reviews and project closeouts.
Act as a point of technical consultation and escalation for both client and partner contacts.
Documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and setup).
Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team.
Provide effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to relevant customer personnel to ensure an appropriate level of future self-sufficiency.
Delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients
Liaising with those developing products/services to gain an in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers – and to let them in on user behavior and/or any potential changes clients would like.
Helping the sales team to reach targets
Conducting research into the industry – including competitor research.
Potentially considering new markets or clients to contact, based on your knowledge of both the products/services and their users.
