Google Cloud Architect

Location: Remote 

Experience: 5-10 years 

  • Managing the successful delivery of Professional Services engagements to drive company’s customer adoption of Google Cloud services, like Google Compute Engine, Google Cloud Machine Learning, Google Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Google Workspace, Google Chrome and many more.  
  • Knowledge of cloud-based ingestion and transformation tool.
  • Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goals, and business transformation strategies. 
  • Knowledge of business data management and data life cycle.
  • Design and develop infrastructure plans for the implementation of new solutions that drive additional workloads. 
  • Oversea the creation of data pipelines.
  • Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development. 
  • Engage with diverse stakeholder groups, including executives of large enterprises and a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team.   
  • Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders to understand a customer’s business and develop strategic roadmaps.  
  • Conduct regular touch-points with clients to review their cloud strategy and provide updates on best practices and new products.  
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and executive sessions to better understand business and technical needs. 
  • Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to ensure customer success during critical moments.  
  • Work with customers and Support to guide issues/escalations to resolution. 
  • Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale through partners and accelerate cloud adoption. 
  • Delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current client. 
  • Coordinate with the sales team to reach quarterly targets.
  • Conducting research into the industry – including competitor research.
  • Encouraging clients to buy extras, upgrades and likes. 
  • Potentially considering new markets or clients to contact, based on your knowledge of both the products/services and their users.
