G Suite for Education has a new name Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals. It will remain free for eligible schools and institutions. If you are presently using this edition, you will notice no differences other than a new name and new features. Google Workspace for Education Standard is a new solution that builds on Education Fundamentals to give better security to universities.
Teaching and Learning Upgrades is a new option that expands on Education Fundamentals or Monitor The effectiveness to provide improved video communication capabilities, enhanced classroom experiences, and tools to encourage critical thinking and academic integrity. G Suite Enterprise for Education is now known as Google Workspace for Education Plus. This contains all Education Standard, Education Fundamentals, the Teaching and Learning update, and other features.

Google workspace for education update:
Google Workspace for Education will be immediately updated. On the coming days, current G Suite for Education and Enterprise for Education users will begin to notice the new edition titles, Google Workspace Education Fundamentals and Education Plus, in the admin dashboard. End users also get their features in new editions.
Google has always provided free unlimited storage to qualified institutions and universities. They will introduce a new shared storage architecture for all Google Workspace for Education versions in July 2022.
