As part of my project, I worked as a data science intern at iSmile Technologies. I was a part of E-commerce’s bot team.
Our team built chat bot for client’s e-commerce website using AWS Lex. The aim was to increase client’s business and up their marketing skills using latest technologies. The bot was designed to incorporate appropriate algorithm, that helped us find out the buying habits of each customer. The bot then offered these products to the user, helped them direct and navigate to the website of the respective product, thereby increasing the chances of purchase. This in turn increased the engagement of the user with the website and the customer was likely to re-visit the website.
My contribution to the team.
I did an explanatory analysis using python programming language, so that I could gather and provide some insight through visualization. Though I faced some issues as I dug deeper into the analysis, I was able to get through them with the help of my supportive colleagues. It was an amazing experience here, I learnt a lot of things, especially the ones in which I had theoretical concept knowledge but lacked practical exposure. Working here gave me an opportunity to convert my theoretical knowledge to practical real life applications. I will always be thankful for this opportunity given by iSmile Technologies.
